To assign an IP address to a domain in WHM (Web Host Manager), follow these steps:

  1. Log into WHM as root.
  2. Navigate to the “Change Site’s IP Address” section.
  3. Click on “Change”.
  4. Choose an available IP address from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click “Change” to apply the assignment.

Keep in mind that after making this change, your website may be unavailable for 2-4 hours while the DNS propagates globally1. If you don’t have any available IPs, you can request more by submitting the IP Justification Form directly via your CORE account12.

Remember to plan this change during a maintenance window to minimize any impact on your website’s availability.
